Rolighetsteorin

I just came across this absolutely brilliant website with lots of great ideas of how to improve peoples behaviour by making things fun instead of penalise them. The world needs more initiative like this one. Check it out:

Goodbye?

Hi everyone! This might just be my last blog. The reason is that I'm now off on a big 3-day bender. I turned 30 on Wednesday and stupidly thought a non-stop birthday weekend of drinking and playing sports would be a great idea. But as I'm now officially an old bastard my liver and hart are really worried that all three of us won't survive this weekend. So if you would like to say your goodbyes, come and join us! Knäckebrödsdansen

The internet is a wonderful thing (most of the time at least). I was promoting our Crayfish Party on the 11th Sep, when I was trying to remember what "knäckebröd" is called in English (it's a Swedish hard-bread). I couldn't figure it out, so I googled it, as you do... I had it on video setting for some reason and the first four results were this video funny clip (which is mainly for the ladies):

I hope no one thinks that that is what we will do with the bread at the crayfish party! There's still a few tickets available to the party if you would like to join in the fun. More info can be found here: www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=127701547241544

I'm glad to announce that Oliver Dinsdale-Young will be performing live at our Crayfish Party on the 11th September. I have had the privilege to hear him play live before and he's really good! There are still tickets available for the party and all the info can be found here:

London Sharks Floorball Club

My floorball club (London Sharks) are starting the 09/10 season this evening and we are looking for a few new players. We have two teams in the league and play friendlies and tournaments around the UK and Europe, so everyone that regularly attends practise will get a chance to play matches as well regardless of your abilities. Our teams have guys and girls, from teenagers up to men over 40, beginners and professionals - everyone is welcome. If you're interested to try it out (first time is free), please contact me or check out our website: www.londonsharks.co.uk
