This blog will keep Scandinavians in London (and their friends) up to date on fun things happening - incl. updates on Viking Party People's latest parties. We organise some really fun parties about once a month and we also have monthly Scandinavian club nights in central London. But I will also give you some interesting and amusing stories here on the blog. So, don't forget to invite your similarly minded friends!

To get in to our launch party, all you have to do is to tell the doorman and cashier that you are there with VIKING PARTY PEOPLE. Please remember to do this to avoid disappointment as this is an exclusive members club. And the dress code is smart casual, so don't wear trainers etc. as you might not get in.
So invite all your friends and I look forward to see you there! If you have any questions or would like to book a table, send me an e-mail.

Swedish Eurovision Song Contest Qualifiers
Yes, the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest Qualifiers (known as "Melodifestivalen" in Swedish) is soon here again to fill six of our Saturdays in February and March with the joy of watching and listening to mostly crap music but also a few good songs. All you Swedes know what a big occasion this is. For the rest of you,it might sound weird, but us Swedes dress up nicely, have a few drinks and boo or cheer the tv together with our London friends. It's a really fun evening!
As usual, all four qualifying heats plus the "second chance" round and the final will all be shown at the Swedish pub Harcourt Arms in Marylebone. And later this Spring they will obviously also show the European semi-final and final in May. For all these evenings you will need to get your hand on tickets as it always gets sold out well in advance. Tickets are £6 each and that includes a bottle of beer or a Swedish cider. Check out The Harcourt Arms website soon for details (www.theharcourt.com).
